Endless Money: The Moral Hazards of Socialism is an examination of how the USgovernment and the countrys financial systems have embraced socialism. He sees this socialism emodied in two things. The first is the socialization of income, which is a form of slavery. The total debt and entitlement promises the American government has made is so great, that if those in the minority who pay nearly all income taxes had to assume the liability personally, they would be insolvent. The second is the socialization of credit. American money is not anything of substance; it is credit. It is simply the loans that banks have madeto businesses and individuals, or to the government. Unless there are dramatic reforms in the fiscal policy, we face an uncertain economic future. William Baker calls for radical changes such as reduced regulatory power of the Federal Reserve, a 50% devaluation of the dollar in terms of gold and repeal of income tax.
