In the rapidly evolving field of exoplanets it is hard to keep abreast of important recent developments. Catching up with all research papers is very time consuming, and inefficient in terms of understanding the theory behind. There is a need for carefully edited volumes which contain review articles, written for this purpose, to capture the current state of the greater field, in order to make readers abreast of the important developments.
