This book covers the topics usually found in a typical introductory statistics book, but from a Bayesian perspective and at a level appropriate for mathematically prepared undergraduate students (i.e. those who have taken a calculus course). Most introductory books present statistics from a frequentist perspective, reserving the Bayesian perspective for graduate programs where few students are introduced to it. However, the Bayesian view has many important theoretical aspects that students should be familiar with if they are going into fields where statistics will be used.
