The essays explore central issues surrounding the conjunction of film and philosophy, presenting a varied yet coherent reflection on the nature of this conjunction. HAVI CAREL is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at UWE, Bristol, UK. She is the author of 'Life and Death in Freud and Heidegger' and of 'Illness', and the co-editor of 'What Philosophy Is'.
