Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Intelligence Systems for Information Quality

This book analyzes the role of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business intelligence (BI) systems in improving information system quality with the aid of an empirical analysis in the Italian context. Fundamental aspects of ERP are first addressed, with examination of critical success factors, the advantages and disadvantages of ERP systems, and ERP as a driver of alignment between management accounting and financial accounting information.
