Introduction to statistical data analysis for thelife sciences

Aimed at undergraduates in the life sciences, this textbook provides a complete introduction to statistics. The authors take a different approach than mosttraditional books, using real data sets to allow students to analyze data before presenting the related probability and statistics. Many of the exercises and examples feature the use of R statistical software. The text also contains solutions to selected exercises at the back of the book. Fundamental topics covered include linear regression, normal distribution, probability theory, statistical inference, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).
