The book focuses on seismic design, assessment and retrofitting of concrete buildings, with emphasis on the application of EN-Eurocode 8. After the publication of EN-Eurocode 8 in 2004-05, this 1st in history European Standard for seismic design is currently introduced by the 30 countries of European Standardisation, as part of the suite of Structural Eurocodes, for application in parallel with existing national standards until March 2020 and exclusively after that.
