The book will comprise a collection of the articles based on presentations delivered at Gas Separation Sessions of International Congress on Membranes (ICOM2008) and specifically modified into a more book-friendly form suitable for publication. It will include about 24 contributions that cover all the aspects of contemporary membrane gas separation dealing with both fundamental results and applied achievements. The contributions will include highlights of nano-science and technology, novel polymeric materials, new membrane approaches to solve environmental problems (problem of greenhouse gases), aspects of membrane engineering, and recent achievements of industrial gas separation.
