Antenna arrays are becoming increasingly important in wireless applications. This book covers a wide range of antenna array topics with emphasis on array design, applications, and computer modeling. Signal processing and numerical modeling algorithms are emphasized. MATLAB computer codes are provided for many of the examples presented in the book. Many design examples are presented. Pictures of antenna arrays and components provided by industry and government sources are presented with explanations of how they work.Randy Haupt earned his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan in 1987. Since 2004 he is Senior Scientist and Department Head of Computational Electromagnetics at the Applied Research Laboratory and also GraduateFaculty member of Electrical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University.
