This book presents the results of the research in one of the most complex anddifficult areas of research such as research in area of thinking and understanding. This research that is carried out in the new founded Queen Jadwiga Research Institute of Understanding is focused on research on the problem of visual understanding and the visual thinking. According to our knowledge this book is the first attempt to investigate the complexity of the visual thinking problems in the context of building the thinking machine.
