For easy reference and understanding, the book will contain aCD that will provide cine loops with examples of normal and disease states. The book will also provide the normal range for all of parameters and diagnostic standard for each disease state in an easily referenced manner. This book will focus on adult heart diseases, and add new form of cardiac conditions in recent years. This book will focus on the basic echocardiograms (2-D, Doppler and occasional M-modes), but will include some of the newest modalities, including 3-D echo, tissue Doppler and quantitative measurements as well as some of the new conditions that have been uncovered (e.g., Tokotsubos, noncompaction, etc).
