This collection is the first to examine the life experiences of young adult immigrants in Europe, as transmitted by the young adults themselves, and together with the analytical framework, seeks to uncover mechanisms at work in theseindividuals' lives. He has been involved in research on youth culture, masculinity studies and the sociology of the family. His most recent research is oriented towards questions around the psychologization of everyday life. .
