Restructuring and M and A are the first measures applied by most companies tosurvive, grow, and particularly maximize their profit in a globalized and competitive environment. However, when it is not managed in a socially responsible manner, restructuring might exert a negative impact on employees, shareholders, communities and other stakeholders.
